Jalea was born on July 26th of 2013. Formerly known as Sangria Tapas Bar; one of Sarasota’s favorite restaurant destinations and the only Tapas Bar in town. Serving Sarasota for over 7 years!
We have since merged with renowned local favorite Maemi Peruvian Cuisine.
In bringing you the creation of the first of its kind; a Spanish + Peruvian Restaurant, featuring most of our signature favorites except with a new presentation and accompanied by some of the best Peruvian Cuisine Sarasota has yet to see.
